What is entrepreneurship?
What is entrepreneurship? According evoltwikia, ‘Entrepreneurship’ is
the activity as an entrepreneur. While Histrich & Peter (1988) define
entrepreneurship as a dynamic process to create the incurring huge losses on
'equity', the time and career commitment or the process of creating something
new by taking into account the time and effort with regard to financial risks,
psychological and social we received from it. Besides, to mention the Kuratko
& Hodgetts (2004) define it as a process of innovation and creation through
the four dimensions of individual, organizational, environmental and process
through cooperation networks in government, education and the institution.
So, what do you mean by entrepreneur?
According to Peter F. Drucker, the
word 'entrepeneur' came from a French word that means' to undertake' or
"to take over". Thus, when we all already understand the concept of entrepreneurship
and entrepreneurs, what are the characteristics that make a person worthy to be
called an entrepreneur? Among them are proactive, networked, open risk taker,
observant, visionary, failure is an option, open culture, outcome oriented and
team oriented and many more. After this, we will analyse each of these
characteristics, together with world renowned entrepreneur who stands out is
characterized above.
